The App crashes immediately after opening, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. No help from the article they reference in the last update.

The app was easy to install, no hassles in getting the updates - just works. I had a question for tech support and the answer was received quickly and it was effective.

Its very easy to use and always runs well I like how you can chose a quick scan or a deep scan being able to select individual files to check is also very helpful Overall very good!

Just had an experience where there was possibility of someone purposely wanting to infect my Mac. Was grateful to find out and know it was clean. Thanks so much for a great app!

This is a solid anti-virus program, my only issue with it is constant pop-ups to leave a review. The anti-malware scan is especially nice, and the entire thing works quickly. 9/10, only issue being the constant harrassment to leave a review. Hopefully that stops now.

Seemed like a decent purchase, but after only 4 days it just crashes everytime. I checked the version and it is the 2.2 which was supposed to have fixed the crashing issue. Seems like they did not fix it that well. It is a waste of money from the looks of things and their website doesn’t seem to be of any help. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

The program does what is stated in the description, and does it very well. But there is one very unpleasant defect. You can not make BitMedic auto launch with HealthMonitor on every time computer start up. So you must launch BitMedic with HealthMonitor on manualy after computer start up each time.

This app does a great job and works as described. The interfacer is very easy to use and very intuitive. Would recommend!

Keeps crashing when I try to scan my external backup 1TB hdd. The scan starts and after a few minutes the app becomes unresponsive and the crashes. An update must fix the issue.

I’ve to purchase this app from the App Store on my Mac. I love to have the real-time protection (24/7) software but I do have one like Avira but I seem to love this app more than Avira for a reasoning. BitMedic Antivirus software for Mac is almost lightweight but doesn’t put a lot of pressure on scanning. I would love this developer to add the aditional option like; Anti-Ransomware, and Anti-Keystroke Logger. This would mean that potentially to increase a lot of users who would buy this, but, that idea might be my own opinion. I think everyone should buy this app recommended for everyone who wants to protect their mac to prevent the future crisis.

Whatever I do I can not get rid of the adware using BitMedic. The app keeps reporting me that my Mac is clean but I still have problems with my browser.

I purchased this app to help remove some very annoying popup Adware windows/tabs that I was experiencing. The app was very fast and scanning my system and found one suspect file and removed it. After rebooting my computer, the problem still persisted. Upon scanning again, the app reported no found files but the issue persisted. I’m not sure which adware it removed, but it did not remove the TopDeal / Deal Top adware that was on my computer. If you have the TopDeal / Deal Top adware, search for those terms in the Apple Support Community and you’ll find some manual instructions on how to remove it. The only reason I’m rating the app a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 is because it didn’t fully resolve my issue. Granted, it must be challenging to stay on top of all of the adware variations out there and update your app, but that’s the category this app is in. I’ll keep it installed and will check for updates. Again, if you have the TopDeal adware, this app in it’s current version won’t remove it. But your milage mary vary on other issues so it’s probably worth the $1.99.

I bought BitMedic after I saw the good reviews, read the description about adware and real time protection. I was very disappointed when I found out that even with the real time protection turned on my browser was having issues with adware which were occupying more than 50% of my browser screen.

I like this app a lot. I’ve used a couple of free antivirus programs, and they’ve been very cumbersome and difficult. BitMedic just works, very easily and thoroughly. And it found an infected file and quarantined it for me!

Even with the real time protection turned on the MacKeeper virus is still showing up. The scan came clean but I am still having problem. Waste of 29.99 bucks

The scan works well and is quick even for a deep scan. I do have one problem. The health monitor keeps turning off. Every time I log back in ti is turned off., Other wise works well.

It seems like there are too many sites where I get silly pop ups telling me my computer needs this or that or my computer has this or that. I’m not stupid enoungh to click on those popups but I thought better safe than sorry even though the Mac experts say you don’t need it so I bought BitMedic AntiVirus.I can’t tell that it has slowed my system any and it’s easy to use. It catches the eicar files of all kind and hopefully it’s going to catch anything that wants to find it’s way to my Mac. I had to help someone that clicked on something they shouldn’t have on their Mac and I spent over a hour researching and digging through folders and files to finally get rid of some silly popup that wouldn’t go away so I’m hopefull that BitMedic will save me some agravation. As far as I’m concerned it’s worth it.
